Exhaust sound..

well here is a rather shitty video shot with my phone... but you can hear the exhaust and see that the power of the bike has not been affected as the damn bike just dissapears into the distance....

Home built exhaust...

Well after the white brothers 2 into 1 broke 500 miles from home I decided to just make my own. I wanted it higher on the right side so when I hit them corners hard I dont bottom out like I have been... I re-used the white brothers muffler and just welded everything together and made a bracket to take the weight off the studs.

Oh the ole shovel how I miss thee... Something about this bike just hit me right... It was tempermental, not the easiest to ride and took work to start... Loved everything about it... Rebuild will commence soon and will be even better...

Motorcycles ruined my life...

Well finally back from Brooklyn and what a trip it was... Rippin up the streets with some good friends... I would love to see people ride as hard as we did... Women and kids werent even safe...

The new knob for the shovel rebuild...

Here is the new knob for the shovel rebuild since I will be going with a foot clutch...

Shifter knob...

Seeing that I went to NYC public school my entire life it is almost fitting that I use this as a shifter knob on the shovel rebuild... Issue is I think it might be too heavy but goddamn I always loved these door knobs since I attended elementary school...

Bracketry...

Custom parts require custom work... After replacing the exhaust amongst many other things on the fxr I dont have a bracket that holds the back of the 2 into 1 exhaust properly... I tried bullshit clamps but those kept breaking from heat and vibration... I just decided it was time to just make a bracket...

Found out about my accident and right away wanted to help and he made me these kick ass custom T-bars exactly how I wanted them.

I wanted them to be turned down and not back and 8" up. With the new 2 up and 28* rake frame I think these bars are going to look sick:

So I have this really good friend... In fact one of my oldest friends and everytime he comes to my house when we are about to head out on a bike trip his truck always gets stuck on the side of my house... I figured there was a better way... So here it is... I extended the shit out of my driveway... Enjoy!!! haha

About time...

Well, its about time I started working on something in the garage. Of course its close to impossible for me to do anything on my own so thankfully I have friends that like to play mechanic on the weekends too. Finally got to re-wrapping my 2 into 1 exhaust and bolting it on the FXR. Looks so damn good...

Next is slap on a new tank and narrow glide front end and ride this sunbitch!!!

New toy.... possibly...

Well once again still healing up and still have a long road ahead of me. However with some of my down time I have time to think about what to do with my current toys and what other stuff I can add to the collection. Watching a show one night I fell in love with the Porsche 944 turbo... Always loved Porsche's so I figured why not... found one that I will be looking at this Sunday in VA... we shall see...

It's hard to post about anything new since I have dont nothing but sit on the couch trying to heal up and get back on the road. This weekend I had some good friends come down and rip apart the beaten up shovel so the rebuild can commence.

New bike...

It's been a while since I have posted due to a very serious accident that I was in.... Lady never fuckin saw me and messed my shit up.... I will be back to full working order but it take some time...

Here is the new bike:

1985 fxr with a ton of motor work (heads, piston, cam, etc...) power = 100hp\100ftlb as i have the dyno sheet

came with a bunch of parts too (front ends, exhaust, bars, etc...)

Upgrade time...

In desperate need of an upgrade for my welder... Right now using Flux wire which is ok for very small jobs and great to learn on but I'm now in the need for Shielded gas and my current welder does not accept gas...

I found this Eastwood Mig135 for a great price and comes with everything except the tank of gas. The reviews on it are very solid too...

Even comes with .023 wire which is probably to thin but at least they include it plus the regulator for the tank... Might be the next purchase...

For free...

Well I wanted to get a legit bike lift but just cant see me spending $500 + on something when I won't be using it all the time.. Well a good friend of mine said he had one and wasn't using it, its just sitting outside and has been for quite a while he said... I'll give it to you for free....FREE!!! Can't pass that up no matter how bad it might look from being outside for so long...

Needs a little love but should look good in no time...

I think it needs more fluid in it but once again... for free... how could you complain...

Primary cover for belt drive...

So if your running a closed primary belt drive you will need to make sure you have proper venting for the belt so it lives a long time and is protected from debris... Scored this Outter cover for a steal...

Tool Chest...

Well after being a cheap ass for a few years and not wanting to take up the space I realized it was finally time to get a proper tool chest.. I was looking for the right deal and a good name brand too because some out there are just shit... I'm not going to drop 10k on a snap on tool box since this isn't my living...

Found this Husky 9 Drawer with 50lb ball bearing drawers online for $179.00.. So I called up one of the many Home Depot's around and found that they had one more in stock on the floor... Here is the best part... This sumbitch was dented on top and scratched so marked down to $96.00... Thats about 50% off... Sometimes waiting does pay off..
